Mr Richard Vincent
CEO and Managing Director

Richard was appointed CEO and Managing Director in February 2017.

Mr. Vincent started his professional career in finance with Bridgestone before moving to Britax Rainsfords where he was CFO. He joined FH Faulding & Co Limited in 1998 and remained with that company until 2005, during which time he held a number of senior leadership roles, including responsibility for the pharmacy distribution, retail merchandise and generic pharmaceutical development.

He joined API in 2005 where he has held a number of General Manager roles that have included pharmacy business development, strategy, supply chain, franchise recruitment, IT, manufacturing and M & A. Richard is the Deputy Chairman of the National Pharmaceutical Services Associationand was also a director of CH2 from 2006 to 2015.

Richard has a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and is a Certified Practising Accountant.

Mr Steve Arthurson
General Manager - People
Steve joined API in 2010 and has a diverse background in all aspects of human resources. He has a primary focus on building individual and organisational capability to deliver short-term results and long-term sustainable growth. At API Steve leads the People function with responsibility for staff throughout our support offices, state offices, distribution centres and stores. Steve is a Williamson Community Leadership Program Fellow.
Ms Lynne Gallucci
General Manager – Retail Operations
Ms Gallucci joined API in 2007 and has more than 20 years of experience in retail, working in national and international brands across a wide range of retail formats. Franchising has been a central focus of Ms Gallucci’s career including business development and establishment of franchise operations. During her tenure at API, Ms Gallucci has held roles in merchandise, supply chain, retail, network development and operations. During this time she has worked with Franchise Advisory Committees and delivered a number of projects focused on business and financial improvement for both franchise partners and API.
Mr Peter Mendo
Chief Financial Officer
Mr Mendo joined API in 2015 and is an experienced and respected CFO with diversified corporate, subsidiary and division roles, including public and private company experience. Uniquely, he has also worked in the government sector. Mr Mendo has extensive executive management experience in strategy, corporate services, change management and business development across manufacturing, mining, infrastructure, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, R&D, distribution, logistics and supply chain, pharmacy brand management, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), food and water industries.
Mr Clyde Morgan
General Manager – Pharmacy Business Development
Joining API in 2006, Mr Morgan has held senior positions across a number of industry sectors including retail, transport, entertainment and gaming and more recently, pharmaceuticals. Organisations include Coles, Myer, Ansett, Crown, Sigma Pharmaceuticals. Mr Morgan’s experience includes strategy and development, brand management, customer loyalty programs and sales and marketing.
Mr Mark O’Keefe
General Manager – Marketing
Mr O’Keefe joined API in 2013 and is responsible for leading the marketing team. Previously Mr O’Keefe was at L’Oreal for 21 years. His roles included the General Manager of the Consumer Products Division-Australia (2002-2012), General Manager Consumer Products Division – India (1999-2002), Marketing Director L’Oreal Paris – (1997-1999), where he was responsible for a group of 10 European countries. Mr O’Keefe also held various positions with the L’Oreal UK branch from 1991-1997.
Mr Jim Redfern
General Manager – Supply Chain and Consumer Brands
Mr Redfern joined API in December 2012 and leads the Supply Chain team that includes around 800 team members across nine distribution centers nationally. Mr Redfern also leads API's Consumer Brands business and indirect procurement function for API, accountable for the strategic purchasing of all expense items across the company. Mr Redfern has a background that includes Group General Manager of Red Rooster Foods, General Manager Supply Chain for Coles Group and a Partner of Supply Chain Cover, a specialist supply chain consulting group.
Mr Dean Matthews
Chief Information Officer
Dean joined API in 2016 to lead API’s IT function and enable the business to further realise the benefits of the recent investment in our SAP technology. He brings to the role deep IT transformation and digital experience and a strong technical background, including SAP. Dean joins us from Lion where he was Business Transformation Program Director and prior to that was CIO at SABMiller Asia Pacific and Carlton United Breweries. With experience in Retail, FMCG and Supply Chain, Dean will be able to make a strong contribution to the strategy and growth of our business.
Mr Peter Sanguinetti
General Counsel and Company Secretary
Mr Sanguinetti joined API in 2007 as General Counsel and Company Secretary. Mr Sanguinetti has been involved in a number of significant and complex legal and business transactions in Australia and overseas and has been a member of senior management leadership teams in Australia and Asia. Previous roles included Company Secretary and General Counsel of Kodak (Australasia), Director Legal Affairs and Vice President Eastman Kodak Company (Greater Asia region), General Counsel and Company Secretary, Mobil Oil (New Zealand).
Ms Liz Webster
General Manager - Merchandise
Liz joined API in 2016 following a very successful five years with Myer in the Cosmetics, Footwear, Accessories and Intimate Apparel categories.  Prior to working at Myer, Liz had success in roles with Ikon Communications and Fairfax Media.
